Careers at ORBIS Compliance
Build your career alongside a global team of regulatory professionals, legal and engineering experts, and operations specialists helping manufacturers bring products to market worldwide.
The work
Help the world's manufacturers get their products approved.
Every connected device, battery, machine, and medical instrument that crosses a border has a compliance story behind it. Someone had to read the requirement, match the evidence to the product, talk to the regulator, and stand behind the answer. At ORBIS, that someone is you.
We're a Legal & Engineering Global Regulatory Advisory. Our clients are compliance managers, regulatory affairs teams, and engineers at multinational manufacturers who sell into dozens of countries at once. They come to us because their products have to launch on time in markets with very different rules, and because they want one accountable partner instead of a dozen disconnected opinions.
The work is real and it's varied. One week it's a pre-compliance review on a new wireless product. The next it's a homologation filing, a conversation with a regulator about a conflicting interpretation, or helping a client bring test reports from three laboratories into one shared view inside ORBIS Intelligent Compliance.
Where you could fit
The roles that make an approval happen
Regulatory affairs
Own the regulatory path for a product line. Interpret requirements across markets, decide which questions go to the authority, and write guidance a client can defend internally.
Certification engineering
Read the product as it's built. Scope radio, safety, EMC, energy efficiency, and chemical testing so the report describes the unit that will actually ship, then see it through to the certificate.
Client operations
Keep samples, documents, translations, and project status moving across countries. Make sure the client's champion always knows where each approval stands.
Administrative Support
Work across ORBIS supporting logistics, accounting, finance, and administration—helping teams stay organized, connected, and moving forward. Open roles: HR Generalist/Admin, Commercial and Accounting Coordinator (USA and Mexico), and Customer Success Representative.
Regulatory intelligence
Track regulatory change across the markets our clients sell into and turn it into clear, product-specific guidance inside the ORBIS Intelligent Compliance platform.
Platform and product
Build and improve the tools our experts and clients use every day, from regulatory intelligence and quoting to project visibility and shared records in ORBIS Cloud.
How we think
Technology and the human element go hand in hand.
ORBIS Intelligent Compliance makes our expertise faster and easier to share. It never replaces the person who reads the product, engages the regulator, and signs off on the path. If you want your judgment to matter, this is the right place.
Who thrives at ORBIS
Curious, accountable, and able to explain the path.
The people who thrive at ORBIS are driven to learn, grow, and apply their expertise with purpose. They are curious, accountable, collaborative, and committed to living our values in the way they work with clients and with each other.
They know their field, but just as importantly, they know how to explain complex requirements clearly. Whether speaking with an engineer, a product manager, or an executive, they can turn regulatory complexity into a clear path forward.
Our team members embrace change, use technology to work smarter, and take ownership of results. They communicate openly, support one another, and stay focused on delivering meaningful outcomes for our clients. At ORBIS, expertise matters. Growth matters. And how you show up every day matters just as much.
Questions
Applying to ORBIS
I don't see an open role listed. Should I still reach out?
+
Yes. Our needs shift with the products and markets our clients are entering. If your background fits the kind of work described on this page, introduce yourself through the contact form and tell us what you've done.
Do I need a legal or engineering degree?
+
Not for every role. Regulatory affairs and certification engineering positions typically require relevant technical or legal training. Client operations, local market support, and platform roles depend more on the experience you bring and how well you communicate.
What does the day-to-day look like?
+
It depends on the seat, but most days involve a mix of client work, coordination with laboratories or authorities, and time in ORBIS Intelligent Compliance keeping projects and records current. You'll rarely spend a whole day on one product or one country.
