Global Product Certification Support

One accountable partner for every certificate your product needs in every market: scoping, testing coordination, filing, local representation, and renewal, with full visibility in ORBIS Intelligent Compliance.

The situation

Twelve markets, twelve regulators, and one compliance manager holding it together.

A product headed for global launch needs certificates from many authorities, each with its own standards, laboratories, forms, languages, lead times, and local representation rules. The traditional way to get them is one country at a time, through whichever agent, lab, or consultant is available in each. It works, in the sense that certificates eventually arrive. It also means no one person sees the whole picture, evidence is generated repeatedly instead of shared, conflicting advice goes unresolved, and the launch date is set by the slowest, least visible thread.

Global certification support replaces that arrangement with one accountable partner. ORBIS Compliance scopes every approval the product needs across every target market, designs a test program that serves as many of them as possible, files and follows each application, provides local representation where regulators require it, and tracks every certificate through renewal. Your team sees all of it in ORBIS Intelligent Compliance.

It's the most common way manufacturers begin working with ORBIS, because it addresses the problem compliance leaders feel most directly: too many moving parts and nobody accountable for the whole.

What's included

The whole path, not a list of filings.

  • Applicability mapping for every target market: which approvals, marks, and registrations the product needs, and which it doesn't.
  • Test program design so safety, EMC, radio, energy, and chemical evidence is generated once and accepted wherever possible.
  • Laboratory coordination with your labs or ours, including sample logistics and in-country testing where required.
  • Application preparation and filing to each authority's format, with translations and legalization handled.
  • Local holder representation where a certificate must be held by an in-country entity, kept independent of your distributors.
  • Direct regulator engagement to settle interpretation questions and resolve conflicting guidance before they cost you a retest.
  • Marking and labeling guidance so each certificate's requirements appear correctly on product and packaging.
  • Renewal and change tracking so certificates stay valid as products, suppliers, and rules evolve.

Two ways to certify globally

Country by country versus one accountable path.

A different agent in each market. Nobody responsible for the whole launch.

ACCOUNTABILITY

One relationship accountable for every certificate, end to end.

Each country's lab tests the product again.

EVIDENCE

One program designed to be accepted by as many markets as possible.

Two advisors disagree and the team tests to be safe.

CONFLICTS

ORBIS asks the regulator and builds on the authority's reading.

Status by email, when you chase it.

VISIBILITY

Every project, document, and date in ORBIS Intelligent Compliance.

Certificates held by distributors in half the markets.

CONTROL

Independent local representation keeps approvals under your control.

How it runs

Scoped once, executed in parallel, visible throughout.

The engagement starts with the product as built and the market list. ORBIS engineers and regulatory professionals produce the applicability map and the test program, and identify which markets accept shared evidence, which need national deviations, and which require local testing or representation. That plan becomes the project in ORBIS Intelligent Compliance, with each market's approval as a tracked workstream.

Execution runs in parallel where dependencies allow. Testing proceeds at recognized laboratories. Applications are filed as evidence becomes available. Regulator questions are answered by people who know the product. Your team can see which markets are on track, which are waiting on a document, and what's needed from you, without asking.

When the certificates are issued they land in your product record with their marking rules and renewal triggers. The relationship continues through ongoing compliance, so the portfolio stays approved as things change. And where a market has adopted QR-code certificate requirements, the QRLink Comply Package publishes compliant certificate pages per certificate, with engineering review.

Questions

Global certification support

How many markets does ORBIS support?

+

Our legal and engineering team works across the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Oceania, through direct expertise and vetted local partners where a market requires them. Tell us your list and we'll confirm coverage and the approach for each country.

Can you take over certifications that are already in progress or already issued?

+

Yes. Many clients bring a portfolio with certificates in various states, held by various parties. We map what exists, what's valid, what's at risk, and what's missing, and bring it into one managed record. Existing reports and certificates from other providers can be contributed to ORBIS Cloud with authorized access.

Does global certification support include environmental obligations?

+

It covers the product approvals. Producer registrations, take-back schemes, and other environmental obligations are scoped alongside them so nothing is discovered after launch, and they're managed through our environmental practice as part of the same relationship.

Every certificate. Every market. One relationship.

Bring the product and the list of countries. We'll map every approval it needs, show you where evidence can be shared, and give you a path with dates you can plan around.
