Latest Insights on Regulatory Compliance and Market Access
The most recent thinking from ORBIS on where product compliance is heading: regulatory trends, the shift to Intelligent Compliance, AI in regulatory work, and what compliance leaders are doing now.
The current view
What we're seeing now, and what we think it means.
Latest Insights is the running record of ORBIS thinking on product compliance: shorter than an expert article, more reflective than a news item. It's where we note a trend we're seeing across client work, react to a regulatory development with a view rather than a summary, share what a conversation with a regulator or a compliance leader taught us, and test ideas about where the function is heading.
The through-line is the shift from Fragmented Compliance to Intelligent Compliance: from country-by-country projects, disconnected tools, and conflicting opinions to one accountable relationship, shared information, and expertise that scales. We think that shift is underway whether or not any given company chooses it, and most of what we write here is about how to make the choice deliberately.

Insights are where ORBIS takes a position. We believe compliance has become a launch-speed function, that regulatory answers need someone accountable behind them, and that lived certification expertise is more valuable when it's shared across a team through a platform than when it's sold by the hour. Those are beliefs, and we argue for them. When we cite a fact, a regulation, or an example, it's checked. When we're speculating about where things are heading, we say so.
